MIC JONES

Mic read and studied everything he could about the art of stunts.  He taught himself the mechanics and performance of the art.  He even sometimes enlisted friends to assist him in creating elaborate scenes to test out his development.  The skill of being in front of a camera was also honed, as well as many types of vehicles including power boats, helicopters and motorcycles.

Appearances may be subject to change due to unforeseen professional or personal commitments.

Biography:  Brock Jolliffe started in the film industry in the seventies by providing gun handling services and military vehicle rentals to film and television productions shooting in Toronto.  Firing weapons segued into providing the effects of gun fire and explosions, eventually transitioning into a main focus being placed on special effects by the mid nineties.  While Brock enjoyed gun handling, he also discovered that the process of creating and executing special effects was far more rewarding.  With blowing things up and burning things down in his blood, Brock passed the love of effects onto his son Lee in 1991, and they haven't stopped since.

Brock was the Special Effects Supervisor for La Femme Nikita on 79 episodes spanning all 5 seasons.  (Bio credit to Brock's website http://www.spfx.ca/home )
