Roy played an iconic French-Canadian in “Maurice Richard (The Rocket)” in which he starred as ice hockey legend Maurice "Rocket" Richard.  His experience playing hockey and his ability to perform on the ice in authentic

period hockey skates were useful for this film in which several professional hockey players were cast in supporting roles. He also performed the principal role of another iconic Canadian, Lieutenant-General Roméo Dallaire, head of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Rwanda, in the feature film “Shake Hands with the Devil”, set during the Rwandan Genocide. The film is based on Dallaire's autobiographical book “Shake Hands with the Devil: The Failure of Humanity in Rwanda”.  In recent years, Roy has encouraged young film-makers by accepting roles in their innovative and interesting projects.Roy is co-founder of Fondation Rivières (Rivers Foundation), a Québécois not-for-profit ecological organization, whose mission is to protect rivers and the quality of their waters. The organization is important to him, and he remains very involved with the cause.

Biography:  Eugene Robert Glazer was born in Brooklyn, New York, and attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.  He’s had an extensive career in television, including appearances in General Hospital, Charlie’s Angels, Falcon Crest, T.J. Hooker, Hill Street Blues, Jake and the Fatman, The Twilight Zone, Cold Case, Charmed, Dallas, The Division, Walker Texas Ranger, CSI: New York, Mutant X, and 24. His film credits include New Blood, Reunited, While My Pretty One Sleeps, It’s My Party, Stepping Out, Harlem Nights, The Five Heartbeats, Intruder, I’m Gonna Git You Sucker, No Way Out, and Hollywood Shuffle. He’s married to Brioni Farrell, who played Renee in the La Femme Nikita episode, “Hand to Hand”.

EUGENE GLAZER

Gene appeared in 95 of 96 episodes of La Femme Nikita, beginning with “Nikita,” the first episode in 1997, until his heroic demise in the second-to-the last episode of Season 5, “Let No Man Put Asunder”.

Gene and Brioni have been very active in animal rescue, and at one time were home to eighteen animals, 10 cats and 8 dogs.  They currently share their home with 4 cats and 3 dogs.

MATTHEW FERGUSON

Biography:  Matthew Ferguson grew up in Ontario and is a graduate of the exclusive Claude Watson School for the Performing Arts in Toronto.  He began his career with his theatre debut when he was 16 years old.   

After the very unpopular-with-fans death of Seymour Birkoff in “La Femme Nikita’s” Season 4 “Abort, Fail, Retry, Terminate,” Matthew continued on through the end of the series as twin brother Jason Crawford and made special appearances in Season 5 as Jason.

When “La Femme Nikita” ended, Matthew continued his career for several seasons as a series regular on “An American in Canada” and “Odd Job Jack,” an animated series. He also appeared in other Canadian TV series, “Murdoch Mysteries”, “The Associates,”  “Hockey: A People’s History” and “Snakes and Ladders.”  His later film credits include “Hypercube,” “I Shout Love” and “Owning Mahowny.”  He has also appeared in

Matthew lives in Montreal with his wife and two young children.

I'm numerous theatre productions and served as the theatre producer at Long Eared Plays, where he produced his first play. Matthew has taken another career path as well, having found that he enjoys teaching young people.  He completed studies in screenwriting/film editing at Ryerson University and has also become a certified instructor through Tennis Canada and the National Coaching Certification Program.

Biography:  Roy Dupuis was born in New Liskeard, Ontario, Canada, to French-Canadian parents. Growing up, he lived in Amos, Kapuskasing and Laval, Québec. He graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada (L'École nationale de théâtre du Canada).

 

 
 

ROY DUPUIS

Since “La Femme Nikita” ended in 2001, Roy has appeared in more than 35 acting projects including many films, several TV series, and a stage production. He has also participated in the making of several documentary films.  Roy has won multiple acting awards, both Québécois and Canadian.  Most of Roy's work has been in French, although he has played several notable English or bilingal roles. His roles have ranged from broad comedy to disturbing drama.

Biography: Peta Gia Wilson was born in Sydney, Australia, to a military family. She spent several years in Papua New Guinea, when her father was stationed there. She worked first as a model in Australia and in Europe, before she moved to Los Angeles to study acting with Arthur Mendoza at the Actors Circle Theatre and with Tom Waits at the TomKat Repertory Group. After five years of education, Peta was hired for some small roles in independent films, such as in Naked Jane and Loser.

In 1996, she was preparing to continue her studies at an acting school in New York City, but decided to audition first for a new television show to be produced for the USA Network cable TV channel. From a field of just over 200 aspiring actresses who auditioned for the starring role, the new program's producers chose to offer the job to Wilson, and she accepted a role in La Femme Nikita. For her acting in La Femme Nikita, Wilson was nominated twice for the Gemini Award for "Best Performance by An Actress in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role”.

In 2001 Wilson took part in the International Film Festival in Moscow, where she met with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who confessed to being a fan of hers. She portrayed real-life actress Anny Ondra in the television movie Joe and Max and also starred as the vampire Mina Harker in the The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. She also appeared on an Australian TV mystery anthology drama Two Twisted and had a small role in the movie Superman Returns as the character Bobbie-Faye, a spokeswoman for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration of the United States. She starred in an Australian independent film Beautiful and guest-starred on CSI: Miami and The Finder.

In 2013, she received the Best Actress Award at the Cinerockom International Film Festival for her performance as CIA agent Marla Criswell in a short film Liberator.

In 2012, she launched a lingerie label named Wylie Wilson with a flagship store in Venice, California.
