ReCON

Registration is now open for ReCon TORONTO 2017.  The event will be held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the DOUBLETREE BY HILTON TORONTO DOWNTOWN (see HOTEL page for booking info) on SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, MAY 27 AND 28, 2017 (WITH REGISTRATION STARTING ON FRIDAY EVENING MAY 26.)  Note... if you are flying in for the event, you will need to use Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) or Toronto City (YTZ).  Check the FAQ page for more information.

There is LIMITED SEATING and registration will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.  Registration will close when the seating is full.  UNTIL REGISTRATIONS ARE CONFIRMED AS OFFICIAL (information and fees paid and a conformation Official email from ReCon received), A SEAT IS NOT GUARANTEED.  This information will be updated as needed.  

 

Please note that our Guests are scheduled for the ReCon Panel events only.  We currently do not have any "Meet and Greet" type events scheduled.

The registration fee of $250.00 US is PAYABLE WITH REGISTRATION, which MUST BE PAID BY PayPal IN US DOLLARS.  Please note that we must receive FULL PAYMENT OF $250.00 US TOTAL.  When you pay with PayPal, you need to select the "SEND MONEY TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS" option.  This option will display the $250.00 registration fee as well as a $7.55 service fee (which PayPal charges for their use), and has a bottom line showing $257.55 as the TOTAL payment.  (Please note:  If you currently have a PayPal account with a debit balance or linked to your bank account, no fee will be charged for PayPal services.)  If you do not select this option, the fees are subtracted directly from the $250.00 and you will not be paid in full.  Also, eChecks THROUGH PayPal ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.  You will be notified by email when your VALID paid registration is received and you will be given Official status. 

There will be NO REGISTRATION REFUNDS unless for some unforeseeable reason the entire event of ReCon is cancelled.  All funds received go towards the production of the event and will be applied directly to those costs.  The Committee is presenting this event as individuals coming together for fun, we are not a business and do not have private funding for the event.  A deposit has already been made to reserve the event rooms at the hotel and there is no refund for that amount, so registration funds will be applied immediately against that charge and all additional ongoing charges for the event.  

If your registration is received after all of the spaces have been filled, you will be notified, and your FUNDS WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU.  If more registrations are received than there are spaces available, we will keep a waiting list in the event a space opens and will add you to the waiting list at your request.

 
More specific scheduling details as well as rules and guidelines will be provided to registrants prior to the date of the event.  FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE RULES MAY RESULT IN YOUR BEING EXCLUDED OR REMOVED FROM THE EVENT WITH NO REFUND.  IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE BE SURE TO ASK.  WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE OR REVOKE REGISTRATIONS AT ANY TIME OR TO CANCEL THE EVENT IF CIRCUMSTANCES REQUIRE.
